DEEP FOCUS FILMS

is a documentary film production company creating dynamic, character-driven films on complex issues.

Recent projects have included profiles of internationally renowned poet August Kleinzahler, painter Sophie Matisse, and self-taught artist William Noguera who works from his cell at San Quentin State Prison. Other projects have told the stories of female ranchers, war widows, and the history of camouflage.

KELCEY EDWARDS

received her Master’s of Fine Arts Degree in Documentary Film & Video from Stanford University in 2008. Her award-winning films have screened at festivals around the world.

She is currently in preproduction on a feature length documentary and is working as a freelance videographer and Associate Producer.

DEEP FOCUS FILMS is based out of San Francisco and New York City.
